Music and Performance at Intercession
The Church of the Intercession has an enormous history as it pertains to music and the performance arts. The church seemed built specificially to hold various functions in the arts. There are chairs instead of pews that move to reveal a splended hard wood floor that spans the length of the nave. The first Anglican service to be broadcasted was done so at Intercession. There have been several shows such as "Law and Order," "Sex and the City," and "Third Watch" that have filmed here. Along with television shows, many television commercials, music videos and movies have taken advantage of the beautiful setting that is the Church of the Intercession. |
